Plan for a Health Year – Mentally

2015 is well underway and it's a great time to reflect and assess where you are mentally.

Dr. Michelle Kane, psychologist with the Cone Health Family Medicine Residency Program, spoke on Fox 8 House Calls about the importance of assessing your mental health.

In assessing where you are mentally, think about your satisfaction levels with the following:

  • How you experience and express feelings.
  • Your priorities.
  • Your personal growth.
  • Your ability to ask for help when needed.
  • Your responsibility for your own well-being.
The above assessment can help you find areas that may be out of balance in your life, so you can begin identifying ways to work on these throughout the New Year.
